Do you have your CDL permit, driving experience with a licensed driver and would like to complete your North Carolina Commercial Driver's License Skills Test?  We are certified by the North Carolina Division of Motor Vehicles as a third party tester for the skills exam.

What Types of License Testing Does TransTech, Inc. Offer?

You can test for a Class A, Class B or for a P endorsement. TransTech, Inc. is certified by the North Carolina Division of Motor Vehicles to perform third party examinations.

How Do I Schedule a Testing Appointment?

Testing appointments are scheduled every Friday and must be scheduled one week prior to the actual test session, as required by the North Carolina Division of Motor Vehicles. Please allow 2 hours to complete your test session. Full payment must be received before a test session will be scheduled.

Is Truck Rental Available?

At an additional cost, TransTech, Inc. currently allows for individuals to rent trucks for Class A and B third party test sessions.

What Do I Need To Bring With Me on the Day of My Examination?

All individuals will need to bring the following materials with them on the day of their test session:

1. Valid CDL Permit

2. Valid Social Security Card

3. DOT Medical Examiners Certificate (Medical Card)

 

What Will My Examination Consist Of?

Each individual will be tested and must complete satisfactory in the following areas:

1. Pre-trip Inspection

2. Basic skills test (backing)

3. Road Test (behind-the-wheel)
