Keep up the good work guys.Jaeda JordanJaeda Jordan ★☆☆☆☆ Ruuuunnnnnnn, don't walk... run. The emotional trauma that I endorsed here, is equivalent to my divorce. Diane Porter AKA mama D (office manager) and Pat (administrator) are some of the rudest "professionals" I've ever encountered. They speak to the students as if we are children. They are unorganized, ill-prepared, and faulty in their advertisement of the expectations and the instructors talk behind each other's back instead of being on one accord. At one point Pat told myself and two other students, they lost our drug tests, we never did our drug tests, and our drug test expired. Now I know I might not be the smartest cookie in the jar. However, I know for sure all three of those scenarios couldn'thave happened. So I called Diane's boss Landon Elks who actually took the time to listen to me. Thank you Landon. He finally explained that when the three of us took our drug test, we were tested too early and our test had expired. The state of NC requires the student to have a valid drug test completed within 30 days of driving. So 2 days before its time for us to graduate, we had to take another drug test, wait 2 days for the results to come back. So that we could do our night driving which pushed our graduation date back to the following week. During all of that, do you think we received an apology, empathy, or sympathy for a situation we didn't cause. Heck no, we got a finger pointed at us blaming us for driving illegally. Like we knew that they messed up. Absolutely no accountability. The one amazing thing that came out of TransTech is instructor Sim Bates, one of the most patient, kind, diligent, informative, and motivated instructors that I know! He not only taught me to drive a 18 wheeler in 3 weeks. He also elevated my skills and taught me how to drive a manual truck in 3 weeks. I've never sat behind a manual vehicle in life. So my license has 0 restrictions. #CLUTCHGANG Sim you the G.O.A.T. (Greatest Of All Time) TransTech doesn't deserve you Sim.Response from the ownerWe sincerely apologize for the challenges you experienced during your time with us. We appreciate your feedback and take it seriously. We are actively addressing the issues raised to ensure a better experience for future students. All of the instructors are very experienced, motivating & knowledgeable in the field.. The very BEST instructor for the learning all the required DMV test maneuvers is DAVID.. I don’t know if I could have done it without his help.. THANK YOU..Yulisa Wilson-RandichYulisa Wilson-Randich ★☆☆☆☆ This trucking company is the most UNPROFESSIONAL and DISRESPECTFUL company that I have ever had to deal with. Don't bother wasting your money here. The staff are UNETHICAL as well as their cooperate director ERIC WRIGHT. I do not appreciate the negative remarks that were said on my behalf. I hope that in the near future management will be changed to a more respectful and understanding one.SeekTheTruthSeekTheTruth ★★★★★ Brian BanksBrian Banks ★★★★★ I could not have been more impressed with the services this school provided me. The receptionist team(John & Shaq), instructors(Chuck, Mo, & David), and much respect to the head man in charge/Site Supervisor(Roc) who seems to wear multiple titles while at work & takes on every obstacle thrown his way in stride with pure professionalism. This company treated all students fairly, didn’t matter if you was a Fortune 500 owner or just turning 21 living with mom and dad. Four week class consisted of 1st week classroom, 2nd week yard time practicing three maneuvers, and last two weeks on the road driving. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone interested in pursuing CDL license, company operated from two locations(Old Steele Creek & Wilkinson).LoomiLoomi ★★★★★ ria robertsria roberts ★★★★★ (Long review) I took weekend classes because I work full time during the week. I've never been in a tractor trailer before, I was fascinated from kid with it and promise myself I will drive one before I die. Classes started the last weekend in August and test done Nov 2. Here goes my full experience at the school...Took my permit test the Monday b4 class start. First day of class was with "uncle Larry" really wise, went through the manual plus got personal explaination. Took my triples/doubles, tanker, hazmat test and ace it. Yard came soon after with Rod, his teaching method is unusual, I had a really hard time getting the backing. From the outside looking in Ms Sonia saw my weakness and explain what I was doing wrong and what I needed to look at and see in my mirrors. Next lesson I did really well with the backing. (Great teacher team work) Now could I say for weeks the instructor by the name of Brooks would come in and out..and you get the impression that he is mean and you won't be able to pass but this guy as I have told him before is a miracle worker....lol. So Mr. Brooks speaks loud and will tell you in a heartbeat that he is here to make truck drivers and I promise you at the end of his weekends with you..you will be driving very close to a professional driver. I still couldn't believe the second day with him the Three of us was driving manual with him screaming ever so often "do not force it in" or "go back to the gear you left" lol. Just know when you listen to him and follow what he's telling you to do, you will be GREAT at driving. I hope he never change his methods of teaching and anyone who have him as a teacher please know his loud speaking isn't directed to you, its old school. ( Am a softy and don't like ppl speaking loud to me). To me, teaching for Mr. Brooks is a passion. When we said to him that the three of us needed a little touch up on our backing, he quickly said the day before our test we could come after he gets of the road with his day class and he would help. I promise you I will we had him for learning to back...what he showed was a million times easier and less manevers than the way we were taught to do it. C.J, C.S and myself was shocked. Test day came, nervous as can be, Mr. Brooks give us kind words and left with his new class, knowing he has taught us well. Or at least I hope he knows that. We were left with a tester name Ms. Bobbie, can't give a review on her cuz it was the first time seeing her. I did all that I've learnt and pass the test. Thank you Transtech team as Mr. BROOK say all the time ...As a team, you guys succeeded in making three more drivers out of us. I really appreciate your hard work and you guys passing on y'all knowledge to me.
